Puppi outer diaper

The diaper is sewn from 100% fine Merino wool—the finest sheep's wool, ideal for baby products. The wool cover is the outer part of a cloth diaper designed to keep the moisture from the absorbent insert inside the diaper.

A well-thought-out cut allows for adequate airflow within the diaper and ensures that our wool cover fits any absorbent insert.

The system of appropriately arranged snap fasteners makes it easy to adjust the diaper size for both a small baby and an older toddler. In most cases, the diaper will last for the entire diaper change period. Colorful snap fasteners combined with decorative stitching add an additional, interesting color accent.

The structure of wool and the lanolin content in its fibers make the diaper great at trapping moisture and keeping it in the diaper. Furthermore, it's a breathable fabric that allows for adequate air circulation, thus minimizing the risk of diaper rash. Importantly, wool helps maintain the right skin temperature, making it ideal for both winter and summer hot weather.

Another natural characteristic of wool is that it creates an environment unfriendly to bacterial growth. Lanolin, contained in its fibers, breaks down urine into mineral salts and water. This means that wool covers need to be washed much less frequently than those made of synthetic fabrics. If there is no significant dirt, after changing your baby, hang the cover up to air. When completely dry, it will still have a neutral odor, which proves it's clean and can be safely reused. You only need to wash the cover every two to three weeks.

The outer diapers can be used with all absorbent inserts, flannel diapers and prefolds.

Wool diapers combined with inserts made of natural fibers are the most natural cloth diapers.
