Avo+cado wool wax can be used to grease woolen overpants . Woolen clothing (jackets, trousers, hats, gloves, etc.) also becomes water and dirt repellent again when treated with wool wax.
Instructions for greasing:
Please wash and grease light and colored woolen items SEPARATELY.
1. For a freshly washed wool overpants, add a maximum of 1/2 teaspoon of wool wax and a splash of dish soap or children's shampoo to a cup of hot water. Mix everything until a whitish solution without any oily residue forms.
2. Pour the solution into about two liters of warm/hot water and stir.
3. Immerse the washed and turned inside out diaper cover (do not knead or stir) and let it absorb - until the water has cooled down or simply overnight.
4. Take out the cold(!) trousers and squeeze them lightly, or spin them in the washing machine at max. 500 revolutions.
5. Pull into shape and let it air dry lying down.
For wool fleece clothing: Immerse the clothing in the solution only briefly. Either after greasing the wool overpants or at 1/3 of the specified amount.
