It's long been known that cloth diapers are more cost-effective. But with the Austrian diaper voucher, you can now save even more!

How does that work?

• Pick up your diaper voucher from your local municipality!
  In Vienna you can get it at the parent-child centers.
• Bring your mother-child pass with you when you pick up your child.
• Depending on the purchase value, save either €50, €100 or even more on your cloth diaper purchase!
• As a registered partner retailer, you can redeem your diaper voucher in my shop.
• You shop as usual, pay for your purchase (without a discount!) and, after you have sent me your diaper voucher, you will receive the voucher value back via bank transfer as soon as the voucher has been settled with the WIWA association.

What can I buy with the diaper voucher?

Cloth diapers, of course. But also accessories like wet bags, lanolin, diaper liners, and swim diapers.

Attention: Detergent cannot be redeemed with the diaper voucher!

I don't get a diaper voucher from my local council - what now?

• Unfortunately, not all Austrian municipalities issue the diaper voucher yet.
• Nevertheless, ask the municipality for a one-time financial support - after all, you will save the municipality a ton of waste that is difficult to dispose of

You will receive one diaper voucher per child - so if you have already cloth diapered your first child and you only want to buy small new items, you can redeem the small diaper voucher for your second child.

So you see - it pays to use cloth diapers!

Environmentally friendly

A baby needs approximately 5,000 disposable diapers —roughly 1.5 tons of hard-to-dispose waste —over the entire diapering period. If diaper waste weren't incinerated in landfills, it would take 500 years to decompose!

The proportion of diaper waste now amounts to approximately 10% of the total residual waste in Austria and Germany.

Cloth diapers allow you to diaper several children for a very long time . Only the diaper covers will probably need to be replaced after the second diaper change—though the absorbent materials can be used for several babies if they've been washed properly!

For health

Petroleum, paraffin, lotions, fragrances, superabsorbents: all of these are usually found in disposable diapers!

With cloth diapers, you have natural materials on your baby's skin - because inserts made of cotton, bamboo, hemp, linen... are soothing and harmless to the skin.

BECAUSE: all manufacturers that you find in my shop are not only OEKO-TEX tested , many also use exclusively materials from organic production.

Another advantage of cloth diapers: the urine cools against the insert and thus cools the skin, resulting in fewer rashes, irritations, or fungal infections. This means that cloth diapers are always 2-3°C cooler than disposable diapers !

Cost-saving

Save up to €1,200 with cloth diapers – yes, it's possible! And it's easy on the family budget!

Even when we factor in the cost of washing (energy, water, and detergent), you'll still save a lot of money. If you diaper another child with these diapers, you'll have saved twice as much!

If you sell the diapers after the diapering period , your total costs will be even lower. So you see: cloth diapering pays off, is affordable, and fun!
