All materials used can either be returned to nature. Or they are taken back by companies and processed into new products.

The colors used are biodegradable and are absolutely harmless to nature. All ingredients in ninemalklug Verlag children's books have been examined for their health compatibility by the environmental research institute EPEA and meet the highest requirements.

The books' paper and cardboard come from sustainable forestry - so no rainforest wood is used. Printing inks are based on renewable vegetable oils and are guaranteed to be free of plasticizers and mineral oils. The colors are water-soluble, saponifiable and biodegradable.
